Scout has had a tough summer.
First, he got a hot spot on his neck somehow and had to be shaved and medicated. His collar was cut off because it was sticking in his fur with the blood. Yuck!
This is the swelling that happened from his snake bite. The poor guy couldn't even walk. Our friends Jess and Dan were watching him and had to deal with the whole situation. We felt terrible! The vet wasn't sure if Scout would make it or not...
Shogun was very good at keeping Scout company.

The poor boy needs to wear the cone so he doesn't obsessively lick his arm. We feel terrible but as soon as it comes off, he goes right for it. Stinker.
He is slowly getting better. He has been on house arrest for over a month. He has cabin fever but we can't have him playing too rough or getting it infected so outside activities are very limited.
