Week 12

Strong little man!

He is so amazing! He loves being able to use his little legs and stand up and push off of things!  He is going to be running around this house before we know it!

A bit too small

Brohm's new entertainer looks like it will be so much fun.  Not quite ready for it yet but will be soon.  Even though he is getting to be a big boy, feet have to touch the ground and heads have to be steady before this can become his favorite new activity.

State Fair

When Christina and Jason were visiting us we headed to the fair. We enjoyed some good/bad food and a little people watching but almost went crazy trying to weave in and out of the crowd. It was a little too busy for our taste so we headed back home. Brohm slept almost the whole time. He loves being outside in the fresh air!

Fan-tastic

One of Brohm's new favorite things is watching the fan go round & round.  Peter was laying with him and turning it on and off for him to see the different speeds the other night and it was an irresistible picture!

Scout has claimed this chair as his new spot to relax.

Backpack

Brohm is still a bit too small for what they recommend for his backpack but we wanted to test it out anyway.  He seemed to enjoy it but he needs to be a little more stable before we actually use it so his head doesn't bounce around when he gets sleepy.

Dinner Party

Brohm enjoyed being in his new chair and a part of the action at the table while we were all eating.  He was so good just hanging out and trying to figure out the world.

Week 11

Aunt Nini

Brohm is enjoying lots of love and snuggles from his Aunt Nini & Uncle Jason!  We are so happy that they were able to drive down and spend their vacation with us!

Tummy Time!

Brohm's new tummy time surf board lets him spin around in a complete circle by pushing with his hands or feet.  He loves it!

I had to try out the new camera so I thought a sleeping boy would be a perfect picture test!

We got a new camera! I am so excited!  It is the perfect size to carry around and be ready for those cute baby smiles! The SD card fits right into the computer so hopefully it will be really easy to share our pics!

Grammie & Grumpy

Brohm loved all of the time he got to spend with Grammie and Grumpy!  He even go to hang out for a few hours without me while I ran off to Grand Rapids to visit Leah and Chad when they had their new sweet baby girl, Clementine!  (The future Mrs. Donovan!!)  It was difficult to leave him for the first time but we both survived!  Grammie couldn't believe how much the little man had grown since she was at our house a few weeks before!

Grandma Betty

Great Grandma Betty had a great time visiting with Brohm!

Papa Randy

Brohm got to meet his Papa Randy on our road trip to Michigan!  He was able to fly in from California to visit with us while we were there.  Brohm was instantly in love!
He took us on Brohm's very first outing to Morningstar... Yummy! Then we went to go visit Shane and Emily and their baby, Sean, who was born 4 days before Brohm!  What a lucky Grandpa to be able to have his two new boys together!

Week 7 & 8

I was on our road trip to Michigan so I didn't catch him in his green chair for two Tuesdays.  I almost cried over it.  I Had such a great plan in my head as to what I will do with all of these weekly pics and it is (already) messed up. :(  I did get pics of him on each of those days on my phone that I may just have to substitute in my final project.  But I haven't put them on the computer yet so I will just skip those weeks.

Big Boy!!

Little Man went to the doctor today and at 9 weeks he weighs 12lbs 4oz and is 24in long!! His weight is in the 62% for babies his age and his height is in the 84%!  He can't wear his 0-3 month clothes if it is a 1 piece outfit - when he straightens his legs it pulls on his shoulders if they have feet or the pants don't come to his ankles.  All of his clothes are lose in the belly area though.  He is a long and lean boy!
